Marking its 25th year in Renfrew, Glasgow, Beaverbrooks has invested an impressive £2m in the newly refurbished store, which unveiled its transformation on Monday 4 November at Braehead Shopping Centre.
Set across 5,008 sq. ft. – upscaled from 1,963 sq. ft. – Beaverbrooks Braehead is a destination for Swiss watches and features dedicated shop-in-shop spaces for OMEGA, Breitling, and TAG Heuer, as well as TUDOR, which is a new addition to the store.
Beaverbrooks Braehead has also introduced luxury watch brand Jacob & Co, known for its highly sought-after timepieces which feature intricate, statement-making designs – making it the only stockist in Scotland and the tenth in the UK.
The expansion into the adjoining unit has provided a larger and elevated dedicated area for Beaverbrooks Diamonds & Weddings, where a team of experts will assist with special engagement and wedding ring purchases. With its rich heritage offering 105 years of diamond expertise, the retailer has unveiled a wide selection of hand selected Beaverbrooks diamonds, in addition to collections from Maple Leaf Diamonds and new addition Royal Asscher diamonds, which is celebrating its 170th anniversary this year.
The store also showcases fine jewellery and watches from Gucci, as well as other watch brands RADO, Raymond Weil, and Tissot. Luxury fine jewellery from Marco Bicego has also been introduced, making Beaverbrooks Braehead the brand’s first stockist.
Boasting 89 stores, including three Loupe boutiques and 23 dedicated luxury mono-brand watch boutiques across the UK, the national jeweller has continued to expand its offering over recent months.
Anna Blackburn, Managing Director at Beaverbrooks, said: “This investment into retail in Scotland and the future of Beaverbrooks is very exciting for us, particularly as this is our largest investment of the year. The Braehead store – which has increased two and a half times in size – marks our fifth refit of the year, with a final one planned before Christmas. We are continually investing where there’s opportunity and driving value for the business to safeguard the future of the company.
“We are pleased to continue to position our Braehead store as a destination for diamonds and watches – particularly as it becomes Scotland’s first and only Jacob & Co. stockist, alongside dedicated shop-in-shop areas for OMEGA, Breitling, TAG Heuer, and TUDOR watches.
“We’re confident the refurbished store will be popular with customers – both new and returning – and we look forward to continuing to provide exceptional levels of customer service while showcasing our expertise and passion for watches, fine jewellery and diamonds.”
Janene McQueer, Store Manager at Beaverbrooks Braehead, said: “We’re proud to have been part of shoppers’ special occasions for the past 25 years, and our latest refurbishment marks the next part of our journey. We can’t wait to share more celebrations with customers and cement our position as Glasgow’s destination for watches and diamonds.”
Ashley Bisland, Centre Director at Braehead Shopping Centre, said: “We’re excited to see Beaverbrooks officially open its doors to introduce its new look to our shoppers. It’s a great achievement and milestone for the brand and we’re confident visitors will love the new store.”
The brand new Beaverbrooks store is located in Unit 11-13, 12 Braehead Shopping Centre, Kings Inch Rd, Glasgow, G51 4BP. To view Beaverbrooks’ full collections, visit www.beaverbrooks.co.uk
