All aboard Scotland’s largest wedding showcase this October, bringing together over 200 of the UK’s leading suppliers to the SEC, Glasgow for an unforgettable weekend of wedding inspiration.
The Scottish Wedding Show displays all the latest must-haves for your big day, from bridal gowns and groomswear, to musical entertainment and Scotland’s top wedding venues. Happy couples can find everything they need to plan their perfect celebration at the event and VIP ticket holders can enjoy a preferred seat in the front two rows of the unmissable live Catwalk Show.
Docking at the event for the first time is The Tall Ship, which, this year, celebrated 30 years since its return to the River Clyde. Also joining the event as a first-time exhibitor is Edinburgh-based Carolyn Baxter, debuting her inaugural bridal collection, ‘Voyage’ on the Catwalk.
For couples looking for the perfect soundtrack to their big day, the Live Band Showcase, sponsored by Hireaband, will be in full swing with 10 bands performing over the weekend.
Back by popular demand, guests will be served up plenty of wedding planning tips and inspiration at Let’s Talk Tying the Knot, in association with Tie the Knot Scotland and designed by Enlighten My Day. The curated programme of talks and Q&As will allow brides and grooms-to-be to ask industry experts questions about all aspects of their big day and find out their tricks of the trade.

Carolyn Baxter, Scottish bridal dress designer said: “This is my first year coming to the show and I can’t wait to show off my new ‘Voyage’ collection to a whole host of new brides-to-be. A lot of my brides come from Glasgow so it’s great to be through here showing off my dresses in person and I’m super excited to see how the new collection is received.”
Couples or wedding parties who are looking to make their visit to the Scottish Wedding Show a truly unforgettable occasion can upgrade to VIP tickets for fast-track entry into the show where you can enjoy a glass of fizz in the comfort of the VIP Lounge which is dressed by VIP Events The VIP package also includes a seat in the front two rows of the Catwalk Show, a Clarins goody bag, an exclusive offer for Afternoon Tea at the Radisson RED plus the latestcopy of Tie the Knot Scotland magazine.
Tickets are available to book online now from £16 for entry only and £30 for VIP tickets. Catwalk tickets are available for £3.50, visitors must also hold a valid entry ticket.
