Anyone affected by chest, heart and stroke issues can tap into local support on
Thursday 1 May.
A free event by Paisley and District u3a features guest speaker, Caroline Galffy from CHSS (Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland).
Caroline, who is the local Community Support Services Manager, will detail key facts and services which CHSS offers in this area. Her talk is entitled 'No Life Half Lived' which is the charity's goal.
Attendees will find out how to access help for these three health conditions at 2pm in the Salvation Army Hall in Mill Street (PA1 1ND). People can pick up free information, have a chat and some refreshments from 1.30pm.
u3a chair, Kathy O’Donnell said: “Many of us will know someone who’s been impacted by one or more of these key conditions. I’m sure that Caroline will outline ways to stay well and offer steps to take if we ever find ourselves facing such changes in our health.”
