Dàna are a top Scottish traditional, all-female band based in Glasgow. Their name, derived from the Gaelic word meaning "bold" or "audacious," perfectly captures their vibrant sound and approach to performance. They have swiftly made a name for themselves in Scotland’s rich musical scene, earning acclaim for their fresh take on traditional and contemporary tunes and captivating live performances. With Laura Penman on clarsach a 2025 finalist in the BBC Scottish Young Traditional musician of the year!!
