From October 13th-26th is Halloween Hide and Seek!
Some book characters are too excited for Halloween and have escaped from their books to celebrate - can you help us find them all before Halloween? There's ghostly prizes to be won when all the characters are found!
Between October 13th-19th you can enter into our Draw Your Own Monster Competition!
Can you help us make our shop spooky for Halloween? We need the scariest and the most ghoulish monsters to add to our Halloween banner, can you draw some for us? The best monster will win a ghostly prize!
We'll have everything you need at our activity table so all you need to bring is your imagination!
On October 14th, you can trade your Pokemon cards with others at our Pokemon Swap Shop!
Bring along any Pokemon cards you or your child are happy and willing to swap and enter negotiations.
Please ensure cards are swapped on a like for like basis and younger kids must be supervised at all times.
Also, between October 19th-26th, you can scare us all with our Scary Story Competition!
Design your own character to star in your scary story! The most spook-tastic story and character will win a ghoulish prize! You can either write a story and charcter at home and then drop it off or you can write it in store over at the kids' activity table - make sure you pop your name and contact details on it for when we announce the winner.
From ages 5-13.
Lastly, on October 26th it's Makaton Storytime!
Listen to fun and spooky stories and learn makaton with Susan Clark this Halloween weekend. Our competition winners will be announced after story time and whoever remembers the most makaton signs will get a prize too!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
