Braehead’s Big Birthday Bash
On Saturday 21st September Braehead turns 25! And they are going to party like it’s 1999 with festivities planned across the whole weekend!
About Braehead’s Big Birthday Bash
Braehead Shopping Centre is thrilled to celebrate a major milestone this September – a remarkable 25 years of serving the local community. To honour the occasion, the centre is inviting shoppers and families to join in the festivities from Friday 20 September – Sunday 22 September, as a way of saying thank you for their support over the years.
Visitors over the weekend can enjoy a range of fun activities, including a Wheel of Fortune and Crack the Safe games, a confetti canon, a DJ, silent disco, giveaways, and the chance to win incredible prizes. A Photo Mosaic Wall and Selfie Pod will also be available so visitors can get involved in photo opportunities and create memories. Of course, no celebration is complete without cake, and 1,000 frosted cupcakes will be shared as Braehead’s team, retailers, and visitors come together to commemorate a quarter of a century.
Friday 20 September – 1pm – 8pm

Since opening in 1999, Braehead Shopping Centre has grown from strength to strength, becoming a key part of the local community and a popular space for families, friends, and visitors alike. Supporting thousands of local charities and hosting key events such as Beyonce’s concert, Oasis performances, X-Factor auditions, to welcoming iconic shows such as Dancing on Ice and This Morning’s Fashion Show, the centre has played a key role over the years. Seasonal events from summer, Halloween and Christmas have made Braehead a go to destination for shoppers to enjoy year-round.

Braehead is more than just a shopping destination - it's a vibrant hub for the community and also where countless memories have been made and we've had the privilege of being at the heart of so many personal moments.
Without the loyalty and commitment of our shopper's, retailer and amazing staff, the centre would not be the space it is today with new offerings such as the most recent Mango and Phase Eight openings. We’re always listening to our customers’ needs and plan to continue collaborating to see the success of the centre in the next 25 years.
