In this practical workshop Jamie Wardrop will introduce the principles and basics of design using projection mapping. He will look at how to prepare and select digital media content, how to use the core tools of the software and have fun making your own compositions with found materials in the room. In future workshops, Jamie will follow up with a more in-depth look into the techniques of live mixing or vjing and content creation. This first workshop however will kick off the playful experimental side of the technology.
**Please note this is a re-run of the workshop Jamie delivered in August, due to popular demand**
TUTOR
Jamie creates dynamic live visuals at venues and festivals such as O2 Academy Glasgow, Creamfields, SWG3, Riverside Festival, and Edinburgh Hogmanay. He has used elements of mapping in designs for iconic artists like Lewis Capaldi, Simple Minds, Basement Jaxx, and Faithless.
