This produce will be transformed into mouth-watering dishes and drinks prepared and served by its dedicated hospitality providers.
Visitors and locals will be welcomed to take part in and enjoy the Arran Festival of Food and Drink at venues across Arran over 10 days from the 13th – 22nd September 2024.
This year's festival will see a mix of larger foodie events, festival menus and collaborations by some of Arran’s favourite hospitality providers. There will also be farm tours, special offers, and a showcase of produce grown on Arran. Headline events include BBQ and Music at The Douglas Hotel on the 21st and ‘Harvest Fest’ at Bellevue Farm is on the 22nd of September, the last day of the festival
The theme of this year's festival is ‘Scran Stories.’ Events and menus will focus on sustainability, community and collaboration, and knowledge.
The Isle of Arran is one of Scotland’s most accessible islands being just 55 minutes by CalMac ferry from Ardrossan which itself is less than an hour away from Glasgow. This year’s festival sponsor Stagecoach Buses offer a good service between the island’s villages.
A sustainable travel guide for help with travelling to festival events can be found the festival webpage.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
