On this Blouse making course you will learn all the tips and tricks required to start your journey into dressmaking. You will be taken step by step through your chosen pattern from start to finish. Before you know it, you will have created a beautiful blouse to impress your family and friends.
You will learn how to:
• Pin and cut out a pattern accurately
• Transfer pattern markings
• Adjust a pattern
• Insert sleeves
• Sew a neckline and hemming techniques
What to bring:
You will need to bring your own fabric, which can be discussed on booking. To attend this course, you need to be able to use a sewing machine. A commercial pattern (Newlook 6434 or Newlook 6414 ) will be purchased for you on booking, which you can take home and use over and over. The pattern comes in bust sizes 32-42 inches.
Duration:
4 hours x 2 lessons
All classes are taught by a tutor with over 30 years sewing experience. Group bookings and 1-2-1 tuition are available on request.
Thimbleberry Sewing is a sewing and crafting venue based in Elderslie. A bright and spacious studio where you can relax and create.
