Ferguslie Cricket Club celebrates the lives and careers of two players no longer with us, Con de Lange and Sandy Strang, on Sunday, 1 September at Meikleriggs (opposite the RAH hospital), when their two former clubs, Ferguslie and Clydesdale, compete for the Spirit of Cricket Trophy in a 50 overs per side match which commences at 1.00 pm.
Both players will be remembered by former team mates and friends, and various fund raising events will be held up to and on the day of the match to raise funds for the Marie Curie and Brain Tumour charities.
Admission to the event is free, but donations to these organisations will be encouraged.
The match sponsor is Bill Wilson.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
