About Common Is As Common Does - A Memoir
A deep and dirty dive into a family circle. Part saloon (there’s crooner country classics), speakeasy (brush/scuffing danceathons) and bare knuckle boxing ring (it’s going to kick off`), join us in our Wild West sitting room. This is the story of a boy. He’s an atrocity with big ideals, he needed bread, not sun…
This dance spectacular mashes feats of physical endurance with the end of the night at the Grand Ole Oprey. Using tropes of a Western movie, it explores how experience of poverty and violence can shape a man.
Age Recommendation: 14+
A co-commission with One Ren, funded by Creative Scotland and Future Paisley. Future Paisley is a cultural regeneration, partnership programme which uses the power of arts, heritage and culture to impact social and economic change.
