Join RIG Arts Park Life! project team for an art walk around Seedhill, Paisley, starting at our Community Art Space at 56 Kilnside Road.
Artists Robert and Skyler will lead you on a gentle stroll around the area, stopping off at spots with local art and public design. Talk about what you like to see on your streets and use our professional DSLR cameras to snap some shots of your favourite spots.
We'll pop on over to Mckerrell Street Play Park to discuss ideas for the park which is set to be developed by Renfrewshire Council over the next couple of years. Do you think it should have more public art? Creative sheltered seating? Shipping containers for community spaces?
The walk will last approximately 1 hr after which we'll head back over to our Community Art Space for for warm food and a cuppa.
Please register at the Eventbrite link OR by emailing beth@rigarts.org - this is to help us with catering provision and to assess any access needs.
ACCESS:
We will ensure the walk is step-free and on suitable terrain for people using wheelchairs and other mobility devices. We are unable to provide BSL interpretation or hearing loop access. The Community Art Space has 1 step up from street level and 2 further steps to the toilet, which itself is not wheelchair accessible. We apologise for the inaccessibility our event and space currently have. We are working hard to improve this.
Park Life! is a project delivered by RIG Arts in partnership with Roar - Connections for Life. We are funded by the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund, which was made possible by the Scottish Government and disseminated by Engage Renfrewshire.

Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
