Walking is the cheapest and easiest means of being physically active. It helps prevent disease, improves the management of long-term conditions, aids recovery from illness or injury, and can have a positive effect on mental health.
Joining a local walk group can increase social connections, helping to combat loneliness and reduce the risks associated with isolation. Walking is great for the environment too.
We would be delighted to see you at our free, fun and friendly health walks which are available for all ages and abilities. Whether you haven’t been active for a while, are recovering from ill health, have a long-term condition or just want company whilst walking, the health walks are for you.
Comfortable shoes required & dress for the weather. Please bring a buddy if you need support. Walks will start/finish at the same point unless stated otherwise.
