Santa is back for his third visit to Braehead shopping centre and will be meeting children at his Christmas Grotto.
Children can walk down the fairy light path to visit Santa in his grotto accompanying parents / guardians can join them for free. Every child who sees Santa can pick their own Christmas gift and you can choose to take your own photo or purchase one from the photography team.
After you have seen Santa why not stroll through the Christmas funfair, take a seat at the undercover area and soak in the atmosphere.
In 2022 with your help we collected over 200 toys for the British Heart foundation and we are excited to work with the BHF again this year. There will be a collection point set up in the walk to the grotto. Children can donate an old toy before meeting Santa and picking a brand new gift. If you wish to take part just bring an old toy that you don't want anymore and we will do the rest. Please be aware that battery operated toys are okay but we cannot accept toys that plug into a socket to work.***
- HOW DO TICKET SALES WORK
it is recommended that you pre book your visit using the Eventbrite page to guarantee your place. However walk ups are accepted subject to availability and the grotto checkin accepts both cash and card payment.
- I HAVE MORE THAN 1 CHILD
That's no problem, you book 1 single admission ticket online to secure your meeting with Santa and then you add additional children to your booking on the day at the grotto check in hut. Each additional child is £16.50 to be paid at the grotto check in (both cash or card are accepted)
- I HAVE CHILDREN THAT ARE TOO YOUNG OR TOO OLD BUT I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE THEM OUTSIDE
Most families have a mix of older and younger children and sometimes one or more of the children maybe too old or too young to enjoy meeting `Santa and of course you're not going to leave any of them behind ! so you won't have to. As Long as you have a paid booking for one child you can take the children that are too old or too young in with you when you meet Santa and everybody is welcome to get in the photo with Santa as well ! However only the child that has booked to meet Santa will pick a present and receive any other gifts Santa's Elves may have.
- HOW MANY ADULTS CAN ACCOMPANY THE CHILDREN
We have no set limit on how many parents or grandparents, uncles or aunties can come in with your children to meet Santa. If our Elves think you are abusing this open policy they have the authority to step in and set a number there and then. But let's not have it get that far.
- I DON'T WANT TO PURCHASE ANY PHOTOS
You are absolutely free to take your own photos with Santa using your own mobile phone or camera, our Elves will even take a photo of you and your family with your phone or camera for you so everyone can get in. Santa's Elves will also take one photo with our professional camera system and you can choose to purchase a photo in a novelty holder or not ! it's totally up to you. please be aware that we are not responsible for any accidental damage to you phone or camera if you pass it to an Elf.
- DO I NEED A TICKET TO ENTER THE FUNFAIR
The funfair is seperate from Santa's grotto, you do not need to book or pay to enter the funfair , but do have to pay to go on the Attractions.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
