Marion has lived and worked in Glasgow most of her life. She attended Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee graduating with a degree in Textile Design. She is Vice President of Glasgow Southern Art Club and a selected artist member of The Glasgow Society of Women Artists. Marion creates art inspired by the architectural design of the city’s magnificent buildings. Using photographs taken with her ‘sketchbook’ camera of iconic Glasgow buildings, art and architecture merge in her work and this has resulted in a quirky, kaleidoscopic, 3D effect collages. She also paints in watercolour and gouache to produce detailed designs using building features as the source.
