Following the recent adverse weather and with advice and guidance from the relevant authorities, we have been notified that tonight’s X-Factor is now cancelled, and can confirm that the Scottish Cycling, Running and Outdoor Pursuits Show and the Allergy & Free From Show will also no longer take place over the weekend.
The Elbow gig that was due to take place on Friday evening has been rescheduled to Monday 5th March. All tickets are valid for the new performance date. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, please contact your original point of purchase for a full refund.
We are disappointed that these cancellations have had to take place and the decisions by all concerned were not taken lightly.
A spokesperson for X-Factor said: “Due to severe adverse weather conditions, tonight’s X Factor Live show at The SSE Hydro Glasgow has unfortunately had to be cancelled.
Every effort was made for the show to go ahead but our guests safety and well-being is our number one priority. Due to the weather and following advice from relevant authorities, including Police Scotland, the show has had to be called off. We sincerely apologise to all the fans for any inconvenience caused. And we can assure you the artists are just as disappointed as you are.”
