Our hybrid festival offers opportunities to connect in person and online as we explore Re:Connection and Transformation – Storytelling In a Precarious World, through performance, screenings, exhibitions, talks and workshops, and the launch of an international storytelling toolkit.
We are thrilled to present an extraordinary line up of internationally acclaimed storytellers premiering new work in Scotland, alongside thought-provoking discussions, creative workshops, and family events. Join us for breath-taking aerial acrobatics paired with stories of seals and the sea in Sonder Circus and Kittlin’s Selkie Soul (all ages), as well as mythic mayhem as we brace ourselves for tales to make you rip up the rules and riot with the Women Who Gave No F*cks (strictly grown ups!). Brand new commissions include a story of ancient plants and modern relationships with Raymond Wilson, an exploration of the Scottish witch hunts through story, film and music with Allison Galbraith, and a series of digital experiments investigating what it means to tell stories online.
If you don't want to miss a thing, take advantage of a Full Festival or Digital Festival Pass. A Festival Pass gives you access to everything on the bill, including face to face and online workshops. Workshop places, however, are limited and must be booked separately. A Digital Festival Pass gives you access to our three digital and hybrid events, but DOES NOT INCLUDE digital workshops.
